I notice the first few days the new items drop rate is high. But then they set to xtreme low as they did to eternal blade.

Just did kathandrax with a 7 person alliance group, no emerald blade dropped :'(.

maybe for some..but my drop rate for any rare item has sucked for nearly 3 yrs

i usually take along some guildies/alliance members and they get the drops...atleast i get to see them actually drop.

but it hasnt stopped me trying..

the chicks in the Dryad Bow look fat....
i don't think i want my ranger to carry around a bow with 2 fat chicks on them.

Wth man? They don't look fat at all and I think that's by far the silliest statement I ever read.

Guy above don't turn this into an Ursan crapfest thread and leave it at people can play how they want.

Also someone really needs to come here and confirm if they've gotten anything from Dalada chests other than rubbish! Thanks to those that have been telling us stuff and you who have been getting rubbish from the Dalada chests.

Im sure that with a team of few ursan and good monks the dungeon goes waaaay faster than using H/H

but its not fun to use a brainless/skilless skill...

sry i prefer to play normally than with ursan even if its a few minutes slower...


ps. post your time with ursan team and i will post my time with H/H

jeez >< just because you dont like ursan It doesnt mean the rest of us cant use it I agree its brainless but it can be usefull

No, it isn't fun to play Ursan. Ursan is completely broken, and boring beyond words. Then again, it's not supposed to be fun, it's a farm skill to help rusher wammos farm like rusher wammos.

The difference is likely to be bigger than "a few". Ursan is boring beyond words, but it IS also completely broken.

You're not going to change anyone's mind about Ursan in this thread, so settle down fellas.

On topic, My hubby and I did Kathandrax earlier and no emerald blade. (Not that I expected one, but... I was hoping! )

I've also opened about 40ish chests in Dalada and Grothmar, and no luck there.

I dropped one r9 from a chest in VABBI during Vanquishing (/me very happy i love it and i wanted it), me and 2 allies opened 15 chests each just one dropped (3 areas vanquished for 45 chests total and and few less then 1000 mobs).
So it's right to assume it drops in all Vabbi. I will edit post later to indicate where i dropped it (get a screenie).

Frog Scepter
I dropped one in Bogroot's End Chest (it was r12 communing). NM.

Dalada Chest Running
In total, me and my allies opened 10 chests in NM and 15 in HM (while vanquishing), none of the Compass or Aegis dropped.

I have to say that I tryed Rragar's for Book's sake and hoping for a Dryad's Bow... no luck.

I really want to try Kathandrax now... i need it for Book's too ;-D


Edit
The place where i drop Serpentine was Garden of Sehborin
Other 4 chests opened in Dalada (NM) nothing good comes from them...
I've done Kathandrax... so damn boring, it's a damn work to do it ;-D
... and from the new screens... i don't like the emerald anymore...

I'm rather disappointed in the very dull appearance of the Emerald Blade. I was expecting it to have the shine of a Longsword, but I was gravely mistaken.

I will also confirm that Catacombs of Kathandrax drops the sword because my guildie got one last night (r10 deathbane, so not inscribable). The dungeon takes ~35 minutes to H/H in Normal, so anyone who wants the sword can easily go attempt a few times.

can you post which hero's/henches you used? and builds on heroes? 35min. seems fast

well they had to introduce some new items since the elemental sword has dropped well below 100k
